Working in pairs, the goal of this project was to design a contemporary Japanese restaurant that offers an innovative and luxurious dining experience for our client, O&B Hospitality. To reflect Japanese culture and our spring concept, we incorporated shoji screens, lanterns, and traditional art pieces in the form of feature walls. The design features a delicate colour scheme with natural elements, including an indoor waterfall, wooden and stone finishes, and Japanese plants to create an organic and lively atmosphere that is comforting and inviting for patrons. There are also barrier-free table heights, counters, and corridor widths to create an accessible design that accommodates all visitors.
